International non-profit Project Lifesaver has swept the nation and touched into Australia and some provinces of Canada.

It’s mission is to protect and find missing people who wander away from home.

The Beltrami County Sheriff’s Department and other organizations are working to make it a mainstay in the county.

It sets up an individual with their own unique tracking bracelet and transmitter number, which can point police in the right direction if they become lost.
