Pinwheels for Child Abuse Prevention

More than 400 pinwheels were planted outside of Cass County Courthouse Tuesday. Each pinwheel symbolizes happiness and hope – what every child deserves.

In conjunction with National Child Abuse Prevention Month, Cass County officials brought the nationwide Pinwheels for Prevention campaign to Northern Minnesota.

The Cass County Sheriff’s Office say they investigate nearly 300 child abuse cases a year. County officials are working hard to spread awareness and want to share resources available for families.
