Pillager Man Totals Car Accidentally For Food

A Pillager man totaled his car while reaching for trail mix, according to a news release from the Morrison County Sheriff’s Office.

On November 8th, Kevin Borst of Pillager, 55, was traveling through Cushing Township, north on Dove Road in his 2005 Chrysler Town and Country van. Borst stated in the release, he had reached over for some trail mix when he ran into the back of a dump truck, driven by Bret Olson of Freeport, 50.

While Borst’s vehicle was totaled, he suffered only minor injuries and was taken to seek medical treatment, according to the release.

Randall Fire and Rescue and Gold Cross Ambulance assisted the Morrison County Sheriff’s Office on scene.
