Pillager Football Hopes To Add More Chapters To Storybook Season

In his first season as head coach at Pillager, Paul Peterson can’t help but smile as he talks about the success of his team so far this year. Peterson’s Huskies are state bound for the first time in 14 years, but they say they aren’t fazed a bit.

Pillager has averaged nearly 40 points per game on offense this season, while allowing only an average of eight on defense. And while they hope their offense continues to roll, they know they’ll need their defense to survive and advance. And although 11 chapters have already been written in this storybook season for Pillager, a few chapters remain blank, and the Huskies hold the pen to write the ending.
