Only three games remain for the Pierz High School Football team, and so far, the Pioneer remina undefeated. Not only do they want to maintain their win streak, but they are also fighting for a district title and a spot at the number one seed.

Last season, one point was the difference in advancing in the state tournament for the Pierz football team. And with their only loss last season coming from the state tournament, the Pioneers are determined to go further this year.

Currently sitting 5-0 this season the team is headed in the right direction to reach their goals. And with about eight returners on the team on both sides of the ball and 15 seniors, a lot of the team experienced just how close they made it. But making the playoffs is only one of the expectations they have for themselves. Keeping their drive alive for their ultimate goal at winning a state title.
