Pierz Baseball Beats Maple River in AA Consolation Semis, Shares 5th Place Finish

Pierz baseball took on Maple River in the Class AA consolation semifinals on Thursday and defeated them 7-1, advancing to the consolation final against Luverne. Unfortunately due to rain, the game was cancelled, the Pioneers will instead share the fifth place finish.
