Pequot Lakes Motorcyclist Suffers Serious Injuries

A Pequot Lakes man is suffering serious injuries after rear ending a motorcyclist on Sunday, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

John Johnson of Crosby, 64, was traveling East on Highway 18 on his Harley Davidson motorcycle, when he attempted to turn right into Oak Lawn Tavern where he was rear ended by Norman Armstrong of Pequot Lakes, 73, who was also driving a Harley Davidson motorcycle, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

The Minnesota State Patrol reported that John Johnson had non life threatening injuries but, Armstrong did suffer serious injuries from the accident.

Crow Wing County Sheriff’s Office assisted the Minnesota State Patrol on scene.
