Passenger Ejected from Vehicle and Killed on Highway 210

Walker, MN – Samuel J. Wilson, 23, of Federal Dam, was killed Saturday around 4:11 a.m. as he was ejected from a car that ran off the roadway.

Wilson was a passenger in the 1998 Pontiac Grand Prix. The vehicle was eastbound on highway 210 when it ran off the roadway, struck a tree and rolled several times.

The driver, Phillip C. Nelson, 31, was trapped in the vehicle. He was eventually extricated and transported to Park Rapids Hospital.

The Minnesota State Patrol as well as the Cass County Sheriff’s Office reported the incident.
