Park Rapids Schools on Lockdown

Park Rapids, Minn., – According to the Hubbard County Sheriff’s Office and Emergency Management Facebook page, “A threat was received at the PR High School this morning while students were on the buses and starting to arrive for classes.”

While this is still an ongoing investigation , the Facebook update did confirm that law enforcement is at the school and has done a security sweep of the premises.

Again according to the post, “The School District received the threat and decided to re-route the buses to Century School as they have the capacity for them there.”

The Facebook page reported that nothing suspicious was located and that normal classes will resume later in the morning.

More details will be provided when they are released.
