Park Rapids Mock Car Crash: Students Reminded on the Consequences of Distracted Driving
Distracted driving remains one of the leading causes of accidents nationwide.
A distracted driver takes their eyes off the road for 4.6 seconds out of 6. That leaves a lot of room for error.
That’s why Park Rapids city officials want to leave students with a lesson they will never forget when driving. With a mock crash scene, Park Rapids High School students are demonstrated the reality of a crash site and how first responders react to a scenario.
