Operation Round Up Donates Thousands To Community

Beltrami Electric Cooperative donates almost $4o thousand to the local community.

The Beltrami Electric Cooperative Trust Board for Operation Round Up, awarded 28 grants to area nonprofits and community organizations totaling $39,391, according to the release.  Grant applications sent in, exhibited more than $174,000 in local community projects.

The Trust Board for Operation Round Up is made up of five volunteers from the community who go through the applications and disburse the funds.  The release states, “Operation Round Up is designed to give members a means of working together to use their small change to make a big impact in their local communities.”

The deadline for the next quarterly deadline is December 31st, 2016.
