One Person Injured After Oven Explodes At Tasty Pizza North

One person was injured after an oven explosion this afternoon at Tasty Pizza North in Pequot Lakes.

According to the Pequot Lakes Police Department, the explosion was caused when the pilot light in an oven was being re-lit after it had gone out. One person suffered burns from the explosion and was transported to the hospital by ambulance.

The Pequot Lakes Fire Department investigated the scene and found no gas leaks inside the restaurant. Additional information on the condition of the person who was injured is not currently available.
