UPDATED: 22-Year-Old Killed In Crash On Highway 172

UPDATED: Crash victim has been identified as David J. Wigness, 22, of Hastings.

One person has died in a crash after heading south on Highway 172 Wednesday.

The Minnesota State Patrol says Wigness’ 2012 Chevrolet Silverado pickup ran off the road into the ditch and collided with a tree in Lake of the Woods County.

The Lake of the Woods County Sheriff’s Office assisted on scene.

No other information is being released at this time.
