Notification of Release In Minnesota

The Wadena County Sheriff’s Office is informing the public about the release of a sexual predator, Timothy George Bungert. He was released on Nov. 18.

The 34-year-old was convicted of criminal sexual conduct. Bungert has a history of contacting adolescent females (age 12-14) on the Internet and engaging in sexual conversation. The offender has also attempted to arrange to meet for sexual contact with one victim. Offender was not known to victims.

Bungert is not wanted by the police at this time and has served his sentence.

Law enforcement believes that the release of the information enhances public safety.
