From learning about different health services in the area to seeing all the new boats and pontoons available in 2019, the Everything Expo has it all.

“Every year in March this event really marks the beginning of spring; you can feel it, people are optimistic,” Matt Kilian, President of the Brainerd Lakes Chamber, said. “They’re looking forward to summer, and they are able to connect with about 135 different businesses that are all showcasing what they have going on as far as products, services, non-profits – it’s everything, and that’s why we call it the Everything Expo.”

In the summer, no one wants to be stuck doing yard work, and at the Everything Expo there were several products that are designed to save you time. One product in particular is the Husqvarna Automower that connects to your smartphone and will cut your lawn for you.

“A lot of people think that there is no way that this will cut my yard, and I’ve yet to find a yard that it won’t cut,” Brandon Searle, Dotzler Power Equipment Sales Associate, said. “You get to spend your time fishing or going on vacation, set it, leave it, and it will take care of itself.”

Another product that could save you lots of time this spring is the Dock-Weed-Rake, which can remove the weeds around your dock in just a matter of minutes.

“As soon as the dock is in you can get after the weeds and start clearing and cleaning around the dock when it’s too cold to get in the water,” Scott Landgraf, Prime Water President, said. “That way, when it does warm up you’re ready to go.”

At the very least, vendors love the Everything Expo because of the in-person contact they have with potential customers.

“Being able to talk with them face-to-face and answer their questions versus them stewing on their questions and getting different assumptions is great,” Searle said. “This is our first year here at the show, it’s been fantastic, we’ve had a lot of really good conversations, lots of good people turned out this year.”

Hopefully, the Brainerd community got everything they needed for spring because it’s time to enjoy the nice weather.
