Northwoods Adventure – Pedal Pulls

At any county fair there are more than enough things for adults to do. On Thursday, the Crow Wing County Fair wanted to make sure the kids were included too.

Thursday’s big draw at the fair was for the little pedal pullers and not even a little rain, wind, and cold weather could keep them away. The Pedal Pulls are a scaled down version of the tractor pulls on the big track. And families say it’s nice for the kids to have their own event. And although some of the kids may struggle at time, they still enjoy coming out and competing.

Brainerd High School’s FFA puts on the event, and they say they love seeing the kids come out to compete. They plan to continue the pedal pulls as long as kids keep coming out, but next year, they’ll be happier with sunny, clear skies.
