Northwoods Adventure-Paul Bunyan Extreme 5k

One of the muddiest and toughest five kilometers you’ll ever see attracted more than one thousand runners to the Paul Bunyan Extreme 5k at Mount Ski Gull in Nisswa, Saturday. Obstacles included giant mud pits, slides, ropes, balance beams, a tire park, and of course, running up and down the ski hill several times. The event’s proceeds went to Mount Ski Gull. We talk with the race director and race participants about the grueling course.
