Northwoods Adventure – Nisswa Pioneer Village

Nestled right in the heart of downtown Nisswa is a village of old where visitors can get a glimpse of a past life. Visitors to the village can take self-guided tours to get a glimpse of a quieter, more peaceful time. Speaking of the schoolhouse, once a week visitors can even have the chance to take a class in that school. And Nisswa Chamber of Commerce President Shawn Hansen says that despite being an obvious tourist attraction, the Pioneer Village is really about making sure that everyone who attends knows the history of the area. And after experiencing it firsthand, visitors say this is something everyone should attend.
