Northwoods Adventure: Level 1 Mites Hockey

‘Try Hockey for Free Day’ has come and gone but the Brainerd Amateur Hockey Association has other ways of introducing young kids to the sport of hockey.

This Level 1 Mites team is made up of kids ages 4-9. The main focus of a group this young for coaches is to get the kids comfortable on their skates and on the ice.

What’s also important is that kids are having fun and staying active, so that they can grow to love the sport and come back to improve.
