Northwoods Adventure: Haunted Hidden Hollows

If you have a fear of clowns, The Haunted Hidden Hollows Carnival theme at Paul Bunyan Land, this year may not be for you, but it’s likely to scare the yell out of you. Our reporter Chelsea Brown got a behind the scenes look at the preparation that goes into this haunted attraction.

For three weekends in October , visitors can experience Central Minnesota’s largest haunted attraction Haunted Hidden Hollows. But the process to prepare for the scare starts much sooner.

Brothers Adam and Chad Rademacher are the front runners of this attraction providing a haunted house and a mile long corn maze made from scratch.

Pouring in timeless hours to this attraction and the changes every year, they couldn’t continue the scaring without the members of the scream team.

Trained use decoy tactics and noises, everyone member has a little different method, with their main goal is to get you to scream.

And whether your a thrill-seeker or not, the rademachers hope that everyone experiences exactly what they want from the haunt.

In its last weekend, the Hidden Hollows will be open from 7 to 10 both Friday and Saturday.
