Northwoods Adventure-Cuyuna Agate and Mineral Show

The 12th Annual Cuyuna Agate and Mineral Show drew more than 1,000 rock-hounds to the Crow Wing County Fairgrounds. Kids received some hands-on experience to learn the characteristics of agates and used that knowledge to find some. A rock wizard offered gifts of polished rocks and bits of rock wisdom. Flint-knappers demonstrated how to make arrowheads and spearheads by flaking off bits of rock. This Northwoods Adventure simply rocks.
