Northwood’s Adventure: Cragun’s Golf Simulator

Snow on the ground doesn’t mean it’s time to lose your golf swing. At Cragun’s Legacy Courses, you can still play some holes throughout the winter months with their PGA Tour Simulator.

While some have put the clubs away for the winter, Cragun’s Legacy Golf Courses has not. They offer an indoor golf simulator beginning from late-October to mid- April for golfers who want to continue to play year round.

And since the weather outside doesn’t allow for outdoor golf in Minnesota, guests can visits numerous different courses such as pebble beach in California and TPC Sawgrass in Florida.

The simulator still requires guests to hit the ball, but once the computer calculates the speed, curve, and angle it is then projected on the screen.

Although guests can change the climate conditions such as wind speed and weather, Foley believes the simulator is less intimidating.

Cragun’s does offer winter instruction programs for both beginners, and any golfers looking to get ahead of their game for the following season.
