Northwoods Adventure – Camp Ripley Rendezvous

It’s the largest Scouting event in the Central Region for the Boy Scouts of America, and every four years, Camp Ripley plays host. Over 4,000 scouts attended this year’s Camp Ripley Rendezvous, and could participate in numerous team-building challenges, as well as other fun events throughout the three-day camporee. There is a smaller rendezvous that occurs every year, while the bigger one only occurs every four. But scouts and leaders say it’s all about the scouting experience. And for Rierson, Scouting has been a means to support not only his troop, but also his son. But everyone agrees that events like this are something all scouts should be able to attend.
