Northwoods Adventure: Brainerd Regional High School Muskie Tournament

The weather made conditions a bit of a challenge for high school anglers out on Lake Alexander.

Thirty-two anglers made up 16 teams that all competed to catch a muskie, known as the fish of 10,000 casts.

The main purpose is encouraging youth to participate in what the Minnesota outdoors has to offer as well as educating them on muskie fishing opportunities across the state.

The top four teams with the biggest catch then qualify onto the state tournament.
