Northwoods Adventure – 2015 Minnesota Fishing Challenge

Saturday was the 7th Annual Minnesota Fishing Challenge on Gull Lake, and this year, records were broken. One member of one of the record 125 teams was Tony Schmitt, who, with his wife, reeled in the biggest Northern Pike on the day, weighing in at a whopping 14 pounds. But all fishing aside, when it comes down to it, it’s all about helping those involved with the Minnesota Adult & Teen Challenge Program. The tournament raised nearly $270,000 to benefit Adult & Teen Challenge Centers in Brainerd, Duluth, Minneapolis, and Rochester. And their only hope is to keep the challenge growing in the years to come.
