Northland Regional Shooting Sports Park Opens

A park that was over twenty-five years in the making opened up to the public today. With a pull of the trigger, the first shot was fired and the new Northland Regional Shooting Sports Park was officially opened. This park sits on nearly 200 acres of county land that has been transformed into a shooting sports paradise.

For years many shooting sports enthusiasts traveled to random gravel pits to sight in their guns, now Beltrami County provides a place for various forms of target shooting. The partnership with the county is one of the key elements that helped get this project off the ground.

The park is currently holding rifle sight in days.
