Northland Arboretum Opens Handicap Accessible Wellness Fitness Trail

The Northland Arboretum in Brainerd has opened a one of a kind Handicap Accessible Wellness Fitness Trail after taking two years to create. Today they celebrated the occasion with a ribbon cutting ceremony.

The trail is two miles long and twelve feet wide and it’s perfect for those with wheelchairs. The project cost one hundred and twenty thousand dollars and was funded mostly through donations.

The trail is available to everyone in the community and it will be open twenty-four hours every day including holidays.
