Non-Profit Group Hosts Charity Fundraiser

A Bemidji non-profit organization held a fundraiser to raise money for its youth programs.

Evergreen Youth and Family Services has been operating since 1977. It’s grown over the years to provide transitional apartment housing in addition to an overnight shelter.

The group financially depends on both grant money and contributions from locals. A variety of organizations help out, from the United Way of Bemidji to technology companies like NLFX Professional.

Evergreen officials say they hope to continue growing as the 2016 calendar moves along.
