Nisswa Chamber Seeking 2019 Citizen of the Year Nominations

The Nisswa Chamber is currently accepting nominations for the 2019 Nisswa Citizen of the Year award.

The Nisswa Chamber of Commerce said if you are nominating someone, you need to submit a written letter explain why the nominee should be this year’s winner, postmarked no later than Monday, April 29.

The Nisswa Chamber of Commerce said nominees should be outstanding servants of Nisswa, demonstrate passion and commitment toward the betterment of the community. According to the release, those nominated do not need to be Chamber members, nor do they need to be citizens of Nisswa. Summer residents also qualify.

The winner will be of the 2019 Nisswa Citizen of the Year will be recognized at the Nisswa Chamber Spring Membership Dinner at Cragun’s Legacy Golf Course on May 16.
