Night We Light Draws Bemidji Crowd

The Night We Light festival in Bemidji is under new leadership.

The Bemidji Jaycees are taking over for the Chamber of Commerce in town. They had limited time to set things up, and as a result couldn’t light as many trees as they otherwise could have. They hope to expand their efforts by ordering more lights for 2016.

Awards were given out to floats at the annual Night We Light parade in five categories: Best Use Of Lights, Best Youth Float, Best Business Float, Best Non-Profit Float and Best Media Float. Best Use of Lights went to Port-Able John.
