New Exhibit At Beltrami County Historical Society Celebrates Bemidji’s Sister City

A new exhibit that showcases images of Italy is being displayed at the Beltrami County Historical Society. The historical society is featuring these images in honor of Bemidji’s new sister relationship with the Italian city Filottrano.

The exhibit “History Through a Lens” is a series of photographs taken by photographer Elise Heisler. The photographs on display are of different sites throughout the European country.

“To have this work featuring images of these spectacular photographic images of Italy seemed to me just the ideal way to celebrate this relationship, this friendship, this sister city bond and connection that Bemidji enjoys now with Filottrano,” said Beltrami County Historical Society Executive Director Gary Rozman.
