New Cuyuna Trails Could Add New Money for Cuyuna Lakes

Ready to hit the trails. Cuyuna Lakes’ hope is to create enough mountain biking trails so an experienced mountain biker can ride for three days without repeating a trail. Cuyuna Lakes Chamber of Commerce executive director Jessica Holmvig says these trails and scenery add another unique element to the Brainerd Lakes Area.
Silent sports enthusiasts are already staying in Cuyuna longer to ride the trails one day and paddleboard the next.
The housing market is also being impacted. Silent sports enthusiasts are looking to either move to Cuyuna Lakes or buy rental properties to be closers to the trails.
This year the Cuyuna Mountain Bike Crew unveiled their plan to expand as well announcing the opening of new campgrounds and a new rally point.
