New Baxter Businesses Open Their Doors In April

Two new business in Baxter opened their doors in April along Highway 371.

The Four Seasons car wash and Gander Outdoors recently opened their doors to the public. Crews broke ground on the new car wash, located on Dellwood Drive, last fall and the business opened at the end of April. Gander Outdoors opened on April 12 and was remodeled and rebranded from Gander Mountain after the company filed for bankruptcy in 2017.

“When the old company went bankrupt, the new owners of the company looked at some different stores that were profitable and this store was a very profitable location, so they decided to go forward with it and it’s been great,” said Cory Frantzick, Baxter Gander Outdoors store manager. “The community’s been very welcoming. A lot of people don’t know we’re open yet, but our traffic’s been very good.”

Gander Outdoors is holding an official grand opening this weekend, Friday, May 3 through Sunday, May 5.
