Nevis Pig Races

It was a festive day in Nevis. The sun was shining and thousands of people gathered to watch the Nevis pig races Sunday. This was the 6th year the community has held the races and people of all ages enjoyed themselves. The main street in Nevis was blocked off and transformed into the race track, several different races were held all day. Local businesses sponsored the pigs and even got to name them, as the pigs ran the track the many fans cheered hoping their pig would take the win. Along with the pig races, there was fun games for the kids, food vendors, and even live music.
