The Nevis Tigers demand respect with a 6-0 record. They also gain recognition with a number eight ranking in Class A. The team returns three starters from last season.

A literally big addition to the team, 6’5″ senior Kevin Hale transferred from Nashwauk-Keewatin to heighten the expectations in Nevis. The Tigers offense hums along at a pace of about 72 points per game.

The Nevis defense has pulled its own weight by surrendering less than 49 points per game, good for a 23.5 point differential, which ranks 9th in Class A. A 6’5″ center anchoring the “D” never hurts. The Tigers’ starting five plays well on game day, but a lot of credit goes to the bench. If they get much better, you might have to call these Tigers Grrrreat!
