My Neighbor to Love Coalition to Host Open House for New Units in Brainerd
The My Neighbor to Love Coalition in the Brainerd Lakes Area is hosting an open house this weekend to show off their newest housing units before people move in.
The organization’s goal is to end homelessness and extreme poverty in the region by providing residents with furnished, low-income housing.
This Sunday, the public is invited to check out the newest units at their Creekside complex in Brainerd, meet with current residents, and learn more about what the organization has to offer.
“We’re just about finished with our current 12-plex [at] Creekside South and we have a Creekside Center building that will be finished a couple of weeks later,” said Vicky Kinney, My Neighbor to Love Coalition Executive Director. “We are looking forward to showing everybody the new building before we welcome our residents, and so we’ll have 12 more units that we’ll be filling.”
The open house will be on Sunday, Dec. 14 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. More information on the complex can be found on the My Neighbor to Love Coalition website.
