Motorcycle Hits Car in Broadside Crash

Around 2:30 Thursday afternoon, the Minnesota State Patrol says 49- year- old Kathryn St. Germaine of Bemidji, was driving her Harley Davidson motorcycle westbound on U.S. Highway 2 west of Bemidji. A 2004 Cadillac CTS driven by 76- year- old Harriet Tesch of Bemidji was heading southbound on Hart Lane Northwest and was trying to cross U.S. Highway 2. The State Patrol says that the Cadillac pulled out in front of the motorcycle causing a broadside crash resulting in serious injuries.

St. Germaine was life- flighted to North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale, Minnesota. Tesch was taken to Sanford Bemidji Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
