Morrison County K9 Receives Vested Protection

This is Rocky. He’s part of the Morrison County Sheriff’s K9 unit, and he just received something that could change his life. Rocky, along with nearly 350 other police K9’s, received his vest through a Groupon event paired with Vested In K9’s Inc. that raised over $335,000 to fund the $950 vests. Scherping and Larsen stated that the vests for the dogs are a necessity, saying that the animals should be treated just like any other officer on patrol. And Rocky receiving the vest means just as much to Scherping as it does to the dog.
