More CLC Students Will Benefit from Patrick Abrahamson Scholarship Fund

Due to a recent contribution to the Patrick Abrahamson Scholarship Fund, additional students will benefit from the fund at the Central Lakes College Foundation.

The scholarship fund was established by Faye Abrahamson in memory and honor of her late husband Pat in 2013. It will assist students enrolled in CLC’s small engine or auto mechanics programs. Five students have benefited from the fund so far.

Pat was a CLC instructor for 32 years in the small engine and auto mechanic programs. He retired in 2002 and passed away in 2011.

Faye raises money each year though raffle tickets at the annual American Legion Fall Rendezvous, an event for veterans and their families, which her husband was passionate about.

Faye was able to raise $1,555 for her husband’s scholarship fund.
