Month of the Loon: June 28

Kevin Kenow and his team of researchers captured this adult male in July of 2011. A satellite transmitter was surgically implanted and the exposed antenna allows data transmission to orbiting satellites.  Loon locations are estimated and the information is emailed to Kevin’s computer.
