MnDOT Seeks Government Funds

The Minnesota Department of Transportation has dealt with uneven funding from the state legislature for years.

They’re searching for a solution that would result in stable funding they can count on for transportation projects around the state. Proposals have been submitted by Gov. Mark Dayton’s office and the state House GOP.

Both parties agree the issue needs to be addressed, and they hope to use what they gain from roundtable discussions throughout Minnesota before the legislature meets in March 2016.
