MN Letting Middle & High School Athletes Play Outdoors Without Masks

State health officials announced on Thursday that middle school and high school athletes will no longer need to wear masks while participating in outdoor sports.

Masks are still required for anyone on the sidelines and benches as well as for indoor competitions. Health officials are also asking all middle and high school students to get tested often to slow the spread of the virus.

Health officials are asking for middle and high school students to get tested every two weeks, and for athletes to get tested every week.
