Minnkota Power Schedules Power Outage

Heads up, Beltrami Electric Cooperative customers,

Minnkota Power Cooperative will be performing scheduled maintenance on two substations in Beltrami Electric’s service area Thursday beginning at 12:01 a.m. and lasting until 5:00 a.m.

Around 2,000 Beltrami Electric customers will be affected.

Other areas that will be affected include: Leech Lake substation: This includes Steamboat Lake to the north side of Walker, Oakpoint and Kabekona Lake and east of Laporte. The Laporte substation will include the city of Laporte and Kabekona.

In case of bad weather, the outage would be moved to Friday.
