Minnesota Ranks Best In Business

Minnesota isn’t a just a great state to do business, it’s the best. In a recent CNBC survey education and technology were among Minnesota’s best qualities. And here in the Brainerd Lakes Area Central Lakes College in a major contributor in both.

Minnesota also placed in the top 5 in both Quality of Life and Economy, which the Brainerd Lakes Chamber says is a major selling point for the Brainerd Lakes Area.

That quality of life contains more than 460 lakes in a 25 mile radius plus the Mississippi River, and Minnesotan pay for their quality of life ranking 32nd for cost of living and 35th for cost of doing business. But that’s something the Brainerd Lakes Chamber would like to see improved.
Minnesota also finished in the top ten for infrastructure & transportation and technology & innovation.
