Minnesota Leaders to Speak at the Sprout Food Hub and Sprout Growers & Makers Marketplace April 1-2 in Little Falls

LITTLE FALLS, Minn. – Senator Amy Klobuchar, Congressman Rick Nolan, USDA Under Secretary Lisa Mensah and other leaders from our region will be speaking at the Sprout Food Hub and Sprout Growers & Makers Marketplace grand opening is this Friday, April 1st, from 9 a.m.-3 p.m., with a second market to be held Saturday, April 2, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., at 609 13th Ave. NE in Little Falls.

On Friday, the official Grand Opening, presentations, ribbon cutting and lunch with honored guests will begin at 9:30 a.m.

On both Friday and Saturday, attendees will tour the newly licensed processing facility and demonstration kitchen, shop local food and original creations art, and enjoy live music and delicious food catered by Prairie Bay.

Visitors can shop for locally produced food and artworks, typically including local produce, dairy, and meat products; jams and preserves; and original creations art such as pottery, wood items, and jewelry.
