Minnesota Chicken Company Sold For Millions

Pilgrim’s Pride Corp. will buy its rival and the largest chicken producer in the Midwest, GNP Co., for $350 million.

GNP Co. is the producer of Gold’n Plump and Just Bare Chicken and is based in St. Cloud, Minnesota.

Pilgrim’s Pride Corp. plans to pay cash for the newly acquired GNP Co.
