Minnesota Candidate for District 51A Arrested

Burnsville, Minn. – Bradley Howard Gerten, a candidate for a south metro district in the Minnesota Legislature was sent to the Dakota County Jail yesterday for alleged domestic assault by strangulation.

Gerten is being held without bail and, according to the Dakota County Jail records, his case is still an on-going investigation. The records also have not released who Gerten is accused of assaulting or the exact details of what happened.

Gerten is a retired National Guard soldier who is running for Minnesota House District 51A. The seat is currently being held by Rep. Sandra Masin.

He’s scheduled to appear in court tomorrow at noon.
