Mille Lacs Walleye Limit Meeting

With a new bag limit for walleye in Mille Lacs Lake, the DNR has noticed that citizens are concerned. To address these concerns, they held a public meeting for people to express their concerns, as well as learn about the review of the lake that led to a one walleye limit. The limits were made off a suggestion from an independent review done by a blue ribbon panel consisting of University of Minnesota Fisheries Professor, Paul Venturelli and other fisheries experts. And the DNR hopes the citizens realize this is what had to be done. The forum did feature many questions and comments for the presenters, however none of the public were willing to share their thoughts on camera.
