Mental Health Advocates Discuss The Status Of Mental Health Services In Crow Wing County

60 million Americans are affected by mental illness each year. The Mental Health Day at home was an opportunity for mental health advocates to talk with legislatures about the unmet needs in the mental health industry.

Mental illness is not something that should be hidden.

Senator Carrie Ruud believes the issue can no longer be ignored.

Mental illness can affect people of all ages and to cope some people turn to self-medicating.

They are planning to make the Mental Health Day at Home an annual event.
