Memorial Day Pizza

To honor those who paid the ultimate price to protect our country, there was no price for veterans at a local pizzeria today. It was the first time the local restaurant had done this, but they said there was no better way to honor those who served. Bruce Wallen, a United States Navy veteran, was one of many who came through the Boomer doors throughout the day. While Boomer says giving away free pizza to veterans is the least they can do, those who served say they greatly appreciate the thought. And Boomer says the cost isn’t what matters, remembering those who served and paid the ultimate price is.
